Aaaaah, it's time for the long awaited, and well overdue update!
It's
taken me so long to get my next chapter out, I'm starting to worry that
you guys will be starting to worry that I haven't been working on it.
But I have, I've been really chunking away at it, I even pivoted out of a
half-done FF14 chapter to get the next Danmachi one done instead (since
more people wanted that, so it seemed like a higher priority).
There's more to do, but I'm pretty happy with the progress I've made.
But
I'm pretty unhappy that it's again gotten really damn big. I promised
myself I was gonna do it max 20k words this time... and well, it's past
that. I'm gonna do my very best not to put out another 40k monstrosity
though. I've thought maybe I should just give up on having a sex scene
with each chapter and put out what I've got for this...
Either way, as
proof that I am working and as something to hopefully whet your
appetite, I thought I'd offer up a sneak preview of the Alfia v Freya
confrontation from the start of "A Waning Silence 14".

There's
probably gonna be some spelling mistakes and grammar errors, but don't
worry about them too much if you catch any, I've done a brief edit, but
I'll do a more thorough one when I finish off the final bits and get
this thing uploaded (this week, surely).
But I am open to feedback and thoughts- I wonder if I've let Freya off a bit too easy?
Anyway,
thanks again for your support and your patience. I'm probably
overthinking it, stressing about it, but I was worried it's been so long
since I've given an update on what I've been doing. I was expecting to
have this done two weeks ago! But, as you can see, even just this
segment is too big, lol.
