One last chapter for 2023! What should it be?

As I mentioned, with the FF14 story finally finished (that seriously sat at like 90% for almost a year), I'll be finishing off the FE story I was working on before, there's not much left to do on that one, so I'm hoping to have it out very soon.

And that means, after that, I'll be trying my very best to get one last chapter out before the year's end! So, what would your preference be for that?

The next chapter of A Waning Silence? Another one for Bred for Victory? A Robin/Tiki/Say'ri one shot? A Robin/Cordelia/Severa one? Something for TotK? Another FF14 story?

[FFXIV] A Realm Repopulated Ch1 (Early Access)

 And now for something completely different!

As I mentioned previously, I've been working on a FE Story for the Discord Collab. It was coming along really well, I was happy with how raunchy it was and was having fun writing it... and then I just kind'a spluttered to a stop working on it, and suddenly its been like pulling teeth getting anything done at all.

So, as something of a palate cleanser, I finished the FF14 story I mentioned in the previous poll that was sitting at 95% complete. I actually wrote a bit more than I'd intended, but still, finished it off this week and weekend. 

Now that I've got that done, and I've got something uploaded again, I'll get back into the FE story, it's almost done and I should get it done in just a few more days(tm). So you can look forward to that too!

A Waning Silence Ch13 (Public Release)

 

Done and dusted and out for the world to see!

If you read the Early Access version when I initially posted it, I edited and fixed a few things up throughout the week, so hopefully that got more polished as the week went on. If you saw some errors, and especially if you highlighted them to me, they should all be fixed now, so thank you very much for the help! 

 

I also changed the name of Cassandra's skill, after some input and feedback. probably my favourite of them was “Tintinnabulum”, which is absurdly fitting, but not quite romantic enough, so I wound up going with “Resonating Desire” instead. 

 

 Either way, this chapter is a weight off my shoulders, and it's funny- I gave myself this weekend off, not writing anything to get a chance to recharge, and I ended up feeling almost listless, not sure what to fill my time- I've been plugging away at this one for so long that it's strange not to feel the weight of it's progress bearing down on me! 

 

 I wanna do more and follow with the next chapter, but first I think I'll write a very brief little FE story (about 2-4k words) for the FE Lewd Writers server's current collaboration. 

 

So, if you've got some preferences towards one of the FE: Awakening Oyakodon pairings, now is a good time to throw it out to me. So far I'm leaning towards Robin/Tharja/Noire, but I'm willing to be persuaded.

A Waning Silence Ch13 (Early Access)

 

Hooooo, this took sooooo long! 

I really should have cut it off and shipped it much earlier, I'm sorry. As you may have guessed from the delay, it's a huge chapter, yet again. It's 2.5 chapters in one... So I guess, if as thanks for waiting all this while, there's a feast for you! And hopefully an enjoyable one!

Ultimately just a case of not wanting to stop it too early, so I could move the plot along, and then not having a good breakpoint, so I just kept going and kept going, and now it's finally, finally finished.

I think it's good, so hopefully you'll agree.

Once again, I stayed up all night to finish this off, so I'll be absolutely useless for work in a few hours, but more importantly, I haven't proof-read or grammar/spelling edited it yet, so I'm sorry if there's some rough segments. I'll try get that done tonight after work, and after I've had some sleep.

Minor Update

 

Just a very brief update to assure you that I am still working on the next chapter, I have been doing a lot of writing for it, and it's getting close to completion.

 

I keep going into the end of every week thinking I'll be able to knock it out this weekend, and then wind up not being able to. There's only a few scenes left, so I do imagine I should be able to finish it this weekend though. 

 

Once again, I think it's a case of a chapter that's gotten too big, because there wasn't a good stopping point (at least not with being able to include sex), so it's just expanded and expanded.

 

So hopefully I'll have it up for early access very soon. Sorry about the wait, I know it's dragging on, when I've mostly been good about making progress again.

A Brief Update

 With "A new chapter of Waning Silence" pretty handily winning the previous poll, I've been working on that. However, it's taking a bit of time and there's still more to go, there- so hopefully you'll see that soon.

One of the reasons for the delay is that I recently got commissioned to write some scenes for a character in an Indie HGame called Love's Champion. I wasn't familiar with the game and I've closed off commissions long ago, but it didn't seem like they wanted me to do too much, and writing for a game sounded like fun- so I ended up agreeing.

And then in very typical fashion, I ended up overdoing it, and turning in 17k words of script for what was meant to be a 4k commission.

But now that I've finished up with that, I'm working diligently again on the next chapter of my Danmachi chapter, and the long awaited unveiling of Bell's new title (and a bunch of lewd/sex stuff, but that's less important).

Sorry for the delay, it was the very typical "Oh I'll be able to knock that out in a week... Huh, okay it's taken a lot longer than expected" thing. But work is continuing, and I'll definitely have something out in the near future.
