A Waning Silence Ch4

 

It keeps coming, this is what it's like to be so inspired I guess? Actually it's also largely just trying to make sure I get this arc done, which was meant to be done with this chapter but will instead be handled with the next one since I had to split it in half too.

I think the biggest lesson learned here though is to just get out 10k or so chapters instead of the 20-30k ones I always wind up doing for ACoT or such. Being able to turn chapters over relatively quickly is a great feeling.

I've been pretty sick the last few weeks, but I'm mostly recovered now, so hopefully I'll have another chapter done soon, and then I'll get back to the FE story I keep saying I'll finish that's 80% done.

A Waning Silence Ch3

 

Contrary to my own expectations, instead of going back to the previous stories I've got sitting at about 80-90% done, I was utterly inspired to keep going with my Danmachi story, so I've put out a third chapter for it. This one actually does have sex, so heyo, getting back in the groove entirely. 

 

And contrary to the expectations of anyone who's been following me, I think this is a pretty quick update! For me at least? That's 10k words done from scratch since the last time I updated, I won't say it's a record, but it's a lot better than my usual!

 

It's a really nice feeling to be able to sit down and write and have the story keep flowing, and just keep writing just like that. That's part of why I went with it and wrote a third chapter- I rarely rely on inspiration, usually I try rely on dedication, but it's been a really positive feeling to just be so inspired to write. 

 

Even if the story is kind'a silly and this is the most sappy sex-scene I've written since my third Robin/Lucina one... 

 

Ah, I'm in a good mood, and I hope you guys are too, seeing actual updates from me.

A Waning Silence Ch1 and Ch2

 

About damn time! I think at least! I've said a few times but I've never stopped writing, I've just been doing so on a somewhat more haphazard routine. It's actually been a bit of a mess, I've got a bunch of stories I've been working on, but I was always getting pulled away from one to another before I could finish, I've had one story at about 90% done for months, and another at about 80% done for weeks. 

 

But I've finally finished this one, and so hopefully you'll see some more quickfire uploads from me as I can now go back and finish some of my others! It's actually a Danmachi Story this time, my second one, and without any smut (again!?). It's something that was originally just going to be a series of bullet points and a story outline, based off a conversation I was having with a friend, we bounced some ideas off one another and I thought it'd be fun to write up what such a story might look like- and of course, then doing that I wound up just writing it myself. 

 

It was too big, and had a perfect stopping point right in the middle, so I split it in half and thus we have two chapters. 

 

Hopefully it's a fun read, even if it's not sexual (yet?) and even if it's not Fire Emblem. The good news on that front is that I've got an extremely smutty Fire Emblem story at about 80% done too, so hopefully that'll be up here in lights very soon as well.

Just a "Progress is continuing" update this week really.

 

Good news: My brother flew in to visit, which is nice.

Bad news: His presence means I can't write as much as I'd otherwise like.

 

So yeah, progress is continuing. Hopefully will have something more fun to share next week, we'll see.

Weekly Update/Collab Story

 Since it's a story I built from finishing off another one I started a million years ago, I expected it'd be really quick and simple, something I could hash out in one weekend and just serve as a quick release for you guys without actually really slowing down my main progress very much. But... that didn't happen... so it did wind up distracting from my main work, so I'm sorry about that, but I did throw myself back into BFV this weekend and made some progress with that again, so it's back on track, and I'll hopefully have good news there soon.
