[Danmachi] A Waning Silence Ch18 - Public Release

And thus, the long awaited day dawns! The public release of Chapter 18!

However, an important distinction. After getting a lot of feedback on the sheer size and meaty girth of the Early Release chapter, standing at a staggering 45k words... I was told I needed to split that up into multiple chapters. 

So, instead, I've broken Chapter 18 into what I think makes for the best two parts to release as Chapter 18 and 19. I'm releasing the first now, and I'll release the second in a week.

And I might add a little lovely spice into the ending of Ch19, just because I love you all.

  [Danmachi] A Waning Silence Ch18 - Early Access

 Phew! Took me two days to just do the final "Spelling and gramar check" pass lol.

Just like Hestia and Syr so regularly espouse, I hope you guys are also in the mood for something big and extremely meaty, because this chapter is a whopper.

I expected it to be pretty small overall, since I thought I'd skim through most of the details of the actual Dungeon trek. But, the more I wrote and the more I built the relationship between the trio, the more I wanted to write and the more I wanted to show.

I mentioned last time that I'd really been making extremely rapid progress on this story for a long while, and I think you can see that clearly here, this could probably easily be 3 or 4 chapters. But, I think it works better as a cohesive, single narrative and I wanted to tell the whole story, and the whole relationship dynamic as it changes.

Anyway, I've been pretty happy with most of my chapters recently, but I think this is one of the best I've done in a long while. I hope you'll agree. I think it came out really well.

Chapter Update

 

Chapter Update

Hey, I just wanted to give a brief update on the chapter I'm currently working on, mostly to assure everyone that it's both still being written and almost complete.

I think it's a looking to be a great chapter, and while it's (of course) ballooned far bigger than anticipated, I'm happy with what's there and how it looks.

I'm a little frustrated that it's only *almost* done though. I was making incredible progress with it for a long time, I was fully expecting to have it done in May, or June at worst, but then the editing and proofing just completely slowed it down and it dragged my timeline out drastically.

As of this morning there were three scenes that needed to be finished (probably about 3-4,000 words total) and as of the time I'm writing this, there's only two scenes left to do. So, ideally, you should be seeing it finished very soon.

But I thought I should give an update regardless because "very soon" sometimes tends to be take a little longer than I want. 

That's a long way of saying, "I have been working hard on it" and "It's almost done."

So, I guess I'll just say thank you again for your support and patience, and I'll make sure to have it ready and done in as good a quality as your expect, as soon as I can manage.
