Phew! This might be a bit of a surprise, but here's a small taster of something different!
I've
been chipping away at the next chapter of A Waning Silence, and while
I've made progress I've still got quite a long way to go. So I thought,
for the sake of getting something out, I'd work on a smaller story I
could get up and done in just a few days, so I could get something
across to you in the meantime.
Originally, I thought I'd do
another brief XIV chapter... but I've been playing GFL2 a lot lately,
and I've been a huge fan of HK416/Klukai since all the way back in the
first game... So, inspiration kind'a caught hold of me!
If you're
waiting for another chapter of A Waning Silence, then don't worry, this
wasn't a big distraction from that, it only took me a few days to get
this done. I'm happy to say, for the first time in a long while, this
story did *not* get away from me! It's a pretty nice and straightforward
10k words done in a pretty short period.
Anyway, I'm going
straight back to work on AWS, and I should have more news and another
chapter of that out again in the near future.
In the meantime, here's little story of the Commander and Klukai's reunion in GFL2.
