Progress on ACoT is progressing. 

 

Less smoothly than I'd like, given all the drama and such I've been dealing with in regards to trying to buy a place to live (the process is almost nothing like what I expected and far more annoying), but progressing. 

 

However, due to a combination of sudden inspiration and an urge to take a break and challenge myself to just knock something out, well... I took a break and knocked something out! As anyone who follows me on any of the platforms would have seen, nothing too crazy, just a small fetish story. 

 

I hope no-one worries about ACoT being delayed for it, it was something I put together over about 2 afternoons and a little bit extra time editing, the whole thing was only about 6k words and, since I didn't have to tie it into literally hundreds of thousands of previously written works as well as everything I've got planned for the future... The planning phase took about 20mins, haha. Was actually a little refreshing!

Weekly Update

Simple update this time, nothing too flashy. I've been making good progress (and, once again am up way too late doing so...I need better sleep habbits) but it's got a long way to go. I'm aiming to do 1k words each day this week, then more over the weekend, so that should help it along.

Putting it in perspective, I've got 13k words of a draft/outline/skeleton....

Actually a good week this week. Still delayed by personal/housing issues, but I made fairly significant progress with the chapter, not much to talk about besides that, a few thousand words written. I do need to hash out more of a plan though, seeing as the plan is looking like it'll go very long, I may end up splitting it in half and releasing it sooner.

Happy Easter y'all. And a happy April Fools too. Hope you had a good one, got some chocolate, spent time with your family and possibly lamented the fact that Easter Monday isn't a holiday in some parts of the world (suckers!)

 

As mentioned last week, I'm tied up a bit at the moment with personal issues- namely, sorting out a place to live. It's somewhat timely because if I'm too slow getting it all organised, I'll end up running out of my lease for my current place, so it's getting priority at the moment. That said, the outline is more or less in place. I'll touch that up tomorrow after work and then aim to start drafting out the initial framework ASAP. Expect to hear good news by this time next week.
