Weekly Update

 

No huge surprises so far this week, just working on the outline for Bred for Victory, I'll have it up when it's finished, so you can expect that soon. I ended up pushing out to the weekend and then spending most of the weekend paying off my sleep debt though, slept pretty much entirely through Saturday and then more on Sunday. 

 

Feeling a lot better now, thankfully, trying to get back in the habit of being in bed before 3am!

Bonus - A Wonderful Fall (Alternate Ending)

 

At the request of one of my Patrons I was asked to do an alternate ending for Ch20 that had Say'ri finding out about what'd happened between Robin and Kageoru, and a short little scene from there.

 

Sounded fun to me, so I worked on it for a little bit and wrote it up earlier. 

 

It's not very long and doesn't go into great detail, so I won't post it anywhere, but it might be fun as a sort'a "What if?" scene.

 

So you can consider this something of a Patreon exclusive.

Just a quick update in case any of you have any big preference about where you read it. Otherwise, phew, what a weight off my shoulders getting that one out, only... er... 4 months late? Well! Anyway, onwards and upwards!

I'll aim to get a draft for Bred for Victory up this weekend. Those chapters are a lot less involved than ACoT ones, so should be faster and smoother, hopefully.

A Change of Tactics Ch20 - A Wonderful Fall

 

And it's finally, finally, complete. My God. There's got to be a limit to how long you can spend "Chipping away" at a chapter... So many sleepless nights and so many zombie days at work getting through this, I still can't even explain why it took so long except that it just did.

 

Maybe I'm too picky about my sentences these days, I used to write a lot more casually, now I re-frame things and re-phrase them.

 

Either way!

 

The next part in my super self-indulgent, "You like Say'ri too, right!?" series is finally here. And this time we get to watch Say'ri fall into complete (but sweet) depravity, should be quite different to most of the other scenes we've seen with the other girls, but Robin learns a few new things to take with them too, so that'll be fun.

 

I'm absolutely braindead after staying up all night over the whole weekend, and again tonight to get this finished. So I've just uploaded it to Ao3 for now, I'll get some sleep, head to work and put it up on the other sites this afternoon.

 

If you prefer to read on the other sites, then, my apologies, I'll do it first thing when I get home from work.

Weekly Update

  As expected, everything always takes longer than expected. There's really nothing to say except that it's still very nearly done and just needs a few more hours/days.

  Upload should be practically imminent. It'll be a big chapter and hopefully a fun enough one to be worth the wait, I really hope so.

And it's all Ogre. Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel. It's finished. Mostly, more or less. There's still a little I want to write and/or re-write, but all I really need to do now is get some editing and get it finalised.

Goddamn, this has taken an age, hasn't it? It's gonna be way too big a chapter. Even after trimming down the scope it's still wound up outside expectations.

Phew! Good week this time! I didn't manage to get the story uploaded before the end of the year, but I made some real progress at the start of this New Year. Happy to have 2021 off to a good start at least, well, here's hoping.

 

Anyway, no reason I shouldn't be able to keep this up and have some good news by this coming weekend.
