Phew? Whatever happened to that "I'll try upload again before Christmas" thing? Well Christmas I guess, I massively underestimated how busy and how distracted I'd be with the end of the year, I barely even got started writing anything until a good distance into Jan. 

 

And then writing went slower than expected since I got busier and then sick, and then all of a sudden I put my Danmachi chapter on hold to work on a Fire Emblem story!?

 

Well, Robin finally won Choose Your Legends! I've been waiting for that for ages, about time for another Robin/Harem story, surely? 

 

(The Danmachi chapter is close to done and I'll work on that as soon as I recover)

 Phew! Finally got the update out! 

To what I'm sure is everyone's great surprise, it took far longer than expected and wound up being far bigger than expected. Such an unprecedented turn of events is surely a shock to everyone who's ever read any of my work.

I'm fairly happy with it, and I've finally got the story in place to go through the Minotaur section and the climax of this arc. Yay.

Now that I seem to be back on a roll, I was thinking to put early released in my Patreon. I've released this one already, but the next one I think I'll put to backers first and then to everyone else.

It keeps coming, this is what it's like to be so inspired I guess? Actually it's also largely just trying to make sure I get this arc done, which was meant to be done with this chapter but will instead be handled with the next one since I had to split it in half too.

I think the biggest lesson learned here though is to just get out 10k or so chapters instead of the 20-30k ones I always wind up doing for ACoT or such. Being able to turn chapters over relatively quickly is a great feeling.

I've been pretty sick the last few weeks, but I'm mostly recovered now, so hopefully I'll have another chapter done soon, and then I'll get back to the FE story I keep saying I'll finish that's 80% done.

A Waning Silence Ch3

 

Contrary to my own expectations, instead of going back to the previous stories I've got sitting at about 80-90% done, I was utterly inspired to keep going with my Danmachi story, so I've put out a third chapter for it. This one actually does have sex, so heyo, getting back in the groove entirely. 

 

And contrary to the expectations of anyone who's been following me, I think this is a pretty quick update! For me at least? That's 10k words done from scratch since the last time I updated, I won't say it's a record, but it's a lot better than my usual!

 

It's a really nice feeling to be able to sit down and write and have the story keep flowing, and just keep writing just like that. That's part of why I went with it and wrote a third chapter- I rarely rely on inspiration, usually I try rely on dedication, but it's been a really positive feeling to just be so inspired to write. 

 

Even if the story is kind'a silly and this is the most sappy sex-scene I've written since my third Robin/Lucina one... 

 

Ah, I'm in a good mood, and I hope you guys are too, seeing actual updates from me.
